TYPOlight uses an online translator to set up and maintain language packs. Log in with your username and password to open the editor. If you do not have an account yet, please sign up using the link below.
Once your account has been activated, open the editor and choose a language and a module from the drop-down menu and click "Select". Then, choose the language file you want to edit and translate all labels.
If the translation is complete, you are ready to publish a new language pack. Meta information like the copyright notice or the author's name will be added to the language files automatically. When you click the "Create new revision" button, a new ZIP archive will be created in the downloads section.
TYPOlight uses English as fallback language, so you can also publish incomplete language packs (e.g. if you do not want to translate all country names). Missing labels will be replaced by their english equivalents.
