Hi guys,

Forgive me for my noobishness, this is the first time i have installed TL and like what i see but i have a problem with the base install of the example website, i am practicing adding articles and also editing dome of the demo content but have come accross what may be a bug?

When i try to edit or add new articles/pages i get the following message

Please see screen shot below, any idea what would cause this? (this is on my server, my local install with wamp works ok)

Do you have any extensions installed to the system? I know my extension FolderURL manipulates this field, but it should not have that effect ;)

Maybe there is a whitespace in the alias?

Thanks for the reply,

I tried to reinstall again just in case, i have installed to base example website and have just changed the page title and page description and as you can see below in the screen shot i have the same problem (i did not change anything to do with the page alias or language and there is no white space in these fields).

Its a shame as i really like the workflow on this cms :-/

You might check if there are newer binary packages available first, otherwise you may need to compile from source. Basically the option should be enabled by default in php5.

You might find more detailed help about the procedure in the centos or red hat forums, for example:
